Jack and the Beanstalk

Students were asked to retell the story 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. Since we had our very own beanstalk from the garden, retelling the story through puppets and props was very easy and exciting to do. 

Retelling stories is a part of the kindergarten curriculum. It's a great practice at home when reading storybooks as well! 

You can retell stories by acting them out, and making puppets. It's a lovely way to increase comprehension.
