This past month has been a busy one! We continued on with our pumpkin inquiry after Halloween. We created a pumpkin life cycle, sorted and counted pumpkin seeds and investigated the inside of a pumpkin seed. We talked about making a 'prediction' of what the inside of the seed would look like.

It all started with a SEED!
We have started our Little Green Thumbs garden. We planted tomato, cucumber, purple pole beans, peas, and pepper seeds in pods. Then we waited. We saw a sprout within 6 days! We then planted our sprouts in our large bins. Now we water them and wait:)

A Little Green Thumbs journal came with our garden. We wrote a journal entry about  the concept of Tall & Short. We measured our sprouts using snap cubes.

The new magnetic ice cream set was a hit!

It is important in our Kindergarten room, that the students create their own learning. During this provocation, student created their own number wall. They are encouraged to use this number wall for counting and the correct formation of numbers.
