LGT

Little Green Thumbs has started! We planted the seeds in pods about two weeks ago and now they have grown bigger than their dome! We will re plant them this week in bigger containers.
We planted tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, peas and purple pole beans.

Here a student is measuring water amount.

They had to poke a hole with their finger in the pods

Science Buddies (Structures)

The Science Buddies teamed up for another inquiry based project. This time they had two pieces of newspaper and about two meters of tape. Once their materials was used up, they were not allowed to have any extra.

The goal was to build a structure/tower that could hold a ball and withstand 'wind' (a fan)

Gingerbread Day!

The gingerbread men ran away! They left some clues to find him though!

Carefully bringing the can of gingerbread men back to class!

Yes! It's the gingerbread men, we had to be careful they didn't run away again!

Santa's Workshop

Christmas is just around the corner. The kindergartens have been working hard to create a Santa's Workshop for their dramatic play area. The fire place they helped design is on display in the front entrance of the school.

The finished product! The students have been creating toys in the workshop. A group of students designed a flashlight in Santa's Workshop.

This is the flashlight!! Isn't it the coolest?
