Hooray for Apple Week!
Counting, painting, singing, eating, learning, and celebrating with APPLES!

We were so impressed to hear the children describe the taste of apples by using words such as; sour, bitter, juicy, and sweet.

This is the result of play-based learning!

Future architect?

Never underestimate the power of play.

Students are encouraged to use their imagination to uncover the curriculum. In doing so, students are engaged in learning because it is of interest to them. The teacher's role is then to facilitate the environment and ask appropriate questions that will inspire and challenge student's learning.

Ask your children open ended questions as opposed to closed questions (yes or no answers).
Use WHY and HOW when asking questions to your children.

Why did you use letter blocks in your creation?
How did you build your creation so it wouldn't fall?

Getting in 'SHAPE' in Kindergarten.

Put on your dancing shoes and get active with your child.
