Asking questions is key to learning. Encourage your child to ask questions... even when you just want them to stop;).
We read the book, 'What Am I?' The whole book describes an object in detail in about 3-4 sentences. We had to guess! Most of the children figured them out. Some were tricky, even their teacher had to sneak a peek!
The students then developed their own 'What am I' questions and had to ask their peers.
It was awesome! Try it at home!
'What has wings, legs and is pretty colors?'
A butterfly of course!
Student: 'Miss what is a square inside of a square?'
Teacher: 'A house!'
Student: 'Nope, a waffle!'
Teacher: 'You fooled me!'
