Yolanda Fillier who works with Fisheries and Oceans joined us for a presentation. All five classes will receive this presentation.
Students watched videos on the importance of keeping the oceans safe for the animals.
The exhibit below is an example of how pollution from our daily lives can affect the ocean.
Yuck! Look at that polluted water.
Also, remember to cut the drink rings when throwing them in the garbage. Did you know that balloons that are put into the sky can fall into the ocean and cause the death of turtles!! We didn't!
Meet the leather back turtle. This is an actual size replica. Students got to give him a big hug!
